Okay I am gonna say it because no one seems to, not that they have burned me but I try to call Adco all the time and all I ever get is there message stating not to leave messages as they wont be checked. I understand that they offer great services and do great work, hell I live 15 minutes from them. When there voice mail states best way to make contact is email, then I email them and still get no answer. So sorry stick to dissagre about adco but to me that is poor customer service. Before you say why do I not just go to the shop I work during there business hours.

Check their website. They say to call between 4-6pm on certain days and they will answer. The other hours are spent in the shop. Every time I called just after 4pm they answered. At least they have a system.

WHY would you assume that everybody orders from the same niche-market vendors you do, and knows what you're talking about...?

I waltzed in here, read your post, and thought "Daniel Defense Law Enforcement Sales...? There is NO frickin' way!"

I've seen DDLES discussed in many threads here. They are...were...the goto for a glock mag lower. I didn't know that DDLES wasn't known by all.

For the benefit of those that don't live in Tucson, it is an extremely small shop with only a few (5 when I was there) employees. Vltor (Abrams) is orders of magnatude larger and their products are hard to get now as well.

As I suspected but thy should hire a person to just answer the phone and reply to emails. Without customer service your business will fail. Customer service is just as important as the product you are selling.

Visual depiction of a DDLES product...

Here is my DDLES Colt pattern 9MM AR SBR.

I wanted to get a DDLES upper as well, but they are swamped I guess. Not going to second guess their business decisions, but they aren't alone. Glockmeister and all sorts of shops just aren't answering the phone / emails these days. Doesn't make it right, just the way it is.

So I went with a custom YMH upper build. Dry fire it seems to work fine, just need to get the 9MM buffer, sights, and the suppressor and I'll be all set.

Previous to the craze DDLES was busy but would take your phone calls / emails.

    i ordered a DDLES glock 9mm lower shortly pre-election, pre-newtown.

they answered the phone, were amiable and willing to talk about whatever. i've had far more-curt replies from G&R.

the lower shipped as soon as my ffl faxed the form, and i received it in good time and order.

i assembled it with a PSA lower build kit, mated it to a cmmg 9mm upper (adco glocked the bolt for me) and had no problems.

    satisfied customer here.

I don't know if this helps you out but there's this guy quarterbacking communication between the angry masses and DDLES. I know it's a BS way to communicate with their customers, but it's unfortunately how I got my order complete...switching shipment to a different FFL and everything.

I thought I was gong to get burned like Loki jobbed a lot of their customers. I was desperate for communication and put my trust in this thread.

I got some communication about my order and then my order eventually came.

    I hope this helps.

    Regardless of their issues...

...stemming from being overwhelmed by the masses and not managaing their business flow well (I think they have had issues getting Glock parts for their new Glock mag pattern lowers)... They do make a nice product...
