Don't be worried what is good, but instead focus on what is good for you considering your overal health, weight, strength etc.
How much you improve is more important than an arbitrary number.
Overall, I would say if you can bench your body weight you are stronger than most. Most people can't come close, a few can do greater.
Depends on what kind of shape you are in to start.
I would start out working on push-ups for a few weeks before hitting the flat bench.
I would give Will a shout.
