One of my go to sites had LMT 2000 lowers in stock today....for 5 minutes.
What he said, get on email lists at various dealers/websites/stores. For a short time this afternoon Rainier Arms had complete LMT lowers in stock.

It pays to sync your email with your phone, while having funds set aside for AR related purchases. Its all about timing. Good luck.

Have you thought about trying to get a DD lower to match your upper or are you just looking to try something different?

It is pretty hard to get a DD lower due to DD not selling those...I think there is one for sale on this site though as we speak

I feel pretty stupid, I didn't realize that you couldn't get a DD complete lower from them. Thanks for the info I appreciate it.

Brownells sells an AR15 critical tools kit P/N:080-000-812MB
Which is all you really need to build your AR along with a hammer and a torque wrench (optional)
It really is so simpe a fifth grader could do it.

    Quality complete lowers

A Rainier Arms complete lower would be a good option as well.

I'll take issue with your statment. The tools shown do not take into account the punches that you need, or the prick punch, center punch or whatever you want to use for staking the endplate and castle nut. There is also no castle nut wrench, and often times the armorer wrench depicted above is so thick when you install the crush washer it will also damage it.

In addition I frequently see lowers that were home assembled and many of them look like shit. Roll pins that are mashed from not using the correct punches, RE's that are off center, scratches and chew marks around holes from driving in the roll pins, broken trigger guard ears from not using the right tools, and support, etc...

In the class I did last weekend at SGC one guy had an upper that was assembled by an "AR guy" and the gas tube was tweaked to the side which was causing his carrier key to hit it and bind in the upper. He thought it was normal so he just slammed the carrier in whenever he took it apart.

Same guy also has a stripped grip screw hole because the grip was a substandard POS and the screw was incorrect.

So, no not any 5th grader can do it.
