Check out hundredpushups.com for a good goal. The program pushed me to the next level for pushups.

Get a couple sets of dumbbells, and perform dumbbell exercises in conjunction with bodyweight exercises.

Insanity is fun. I like it because it only requires floor space and motivation. It's mostly cardio, you won't get huge doing it but you'll lose body fat and build some muscle. It's definitely good for toning and staying in shape.

You'll also hugely increase your caloric intake if you don't watch it when you do Insanity. Metabolism goes crazy.

A barbell and squat stand like this doesn't take up much space.

    Then you can:

    squat
    deadlift
    cleans
    shoulder press
    bent over rows
    floor press
    yes, even curls...
    etc...

Pretty much total body REAL strength training for a couple cubic feet of space...

You can do push ups, pull ups, sits ups, squat, floor press and also jump a rope at your home.
You can also do yoga workout at your home, it can be more beneficial for your health and fitness.

I'm on my third bout of Insanity right now, and sometimes double up with P90X. Insanity uses no weights, P90X uses dumbbells or bands. Also, if you have Facebook, check out the page for Blue Line Tactical Fitness. They have some decent WOD's and are in the midst of a 100 Burpee Challenge.

Havent tried Insanity but have Tapout XT and P90X....I thought I would really like Tapout, but I prefer P90X for the overall workout. Where Tapout seems to be more of a weight loss workout, P90X is more sculpting..Not that it matters at my age..just saying
