Well I have a SWFA 1-6 so if you can get Vortex to send me a Razor for testing I'd be more than happy to give you a comparrison review . I can at least tell you that the SWFA has some impressive glass.

Only got to test it out to 225yds yesterday, but it seemed right on. Im going to go out this week or next (depending on the weather) to try it out to 600yds.

The LRBC online ballistic calculator on the Vortex website is pretty damn cool: http://www.vortexoptics.com/content/lrbc_tutorials

With my duty round (.223 64gr Speer Gold Dot) my BDC is:
    183yds

    274yds

    345yds

    415yds

For my needs (0-300yd LE Patrol/Duty Rifle) this reticle is about perfect. If this was going on more of a precision rifle like a .308 AR or something that would be utilized primarily in a 300-800yd role I would definitely prefer the Vortex MOA reticle or their MRAD reticle.

If doing multiple mag dumps or if left out in the sun, yes. Other than that heat has not been an issue for me.

What kind of throw lever do you have on the magnification selector?
You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.

@nickdrak, can you give an indication as to how much tighter the eye box is of the Vortex compared to the TR24G. I have the TR24G on one of my AR's and am looking for a suitable addition for my 18"IPSC upper. Thx!!

Negative. Gotta sell it to pay for the Vortex
