You can use some of the Safariland light compatible holsters. Or order some semi custom kydex as I did.
Not sure on run time.. more than a week's worth of night fire showed no dimming. mfg specs probably say
Does anyone know if this will fit on shorter rail systems? I am thinking specifically of the HK45c.
With the X300 mini apparently being vaporware, this could be the ticket for me if it will fit the 45c.
Raven Concealment offers the APL as an option on its Light-Compatible Phantom holsters.
Took a quick look at the fact sheet on their site. I don't see an O-ring on the body or anything that would suggest this light has been waterproofed. Does anyone know if it is?
Yes, O'ring. When one removes the bezel to put in the battery it's there.
Did shoot in the rain w/o issue
To satisfy my curiosity... been sitting immersed in sink for an hour or so

Thanks for posting your results. I have been considering one of this, but had been searching for a trustworthy reviewer.
The submersion test is good work. I got a chance to play with one of these the last time I stopped by Dark Star Gear. I plan to pick one of these up when the spare funds are there.
One thing to watch with these, I think...
I believe they are susceptible to overtorquing the mounting screws.
An instructor I know is on his third as he's cracked the bodies on two of them (he suspects from overtightening the mounting bolts).
Not necessarily a problem with the light but a possible user-induced issue to watch out for.
Full disclosure: I'm the editor of Calibre Magazine, which is Canada's gun magazine. In the past I've done consulting work for different manufacturers and OEM suppliers, but not currently. M4C's disclosure policy doesn't seem to cover me but we do have advertisers, although I don't handle that side of things and in general I do not know who is paying us at any given time.
