Just got my APL in the mail today. It's going on my work gun and so far I love it solely on the paddles and the UI. While I'm huge Surefire fan, my short fingers couldn't rock the toggle off after turning it on. It was always a problem. We are not allowed to use the DG switch either.
Well problem solved now with the APL's retarded easy user interface. No rock, just press. It's effortless on my part to turn on the light and then turn it off.
I'll see how well it wears over time. My current X300 is beat up. It has dings on it and countless bouts with 40 cal recoil.
The price for the APL wasn't bad at all. I got it for $102 shipped at a vendor.
The light also fits just fine in my 6360 ALS holster.

My APL came in a few weeks ago the day I left for the beach. Upon getting home, I found that it was extremely easy to attach to the rail. I LOVE the paddles. Quick click for on/off and hold for momentary on. It's extremely intuitive and easy to use. It puts out plenty of light without being overbearing. Kudos Inforce for a great product.

I have run into an unexpected compatability issue trying to mount the APL at 12 o'clock on a carbine rail with a Daniel Defense fixed front sight sitting flush behind it. The APL wing switches will not clear the curved base of the DD FFS. The FFS has to be placed further back on the rail. It seems the rocker switches of the X300 and TRLs, in how they do not span most of the height of the light body like the APL wing switches, clear the wider base of the sight, allowing it to sit flush with the lightbody and as far forward as possible.

I plan on reshaping the bottom (top actually) of the polymer wing switches to accomodate the sight.
    Pics to come.

Has anybody else had this issue?

They probably didn't think a whole lot about this since they made the WML

It will fit in the ALS series for the Glocks at least I presume it will for other makes as well.

I have tested it in ALS and SLS safariland holsters for 1911s, glocks and M&Ps. All have worked so far.

Lack of Lubrication -- a lot of folks who learned on bolt guns don't understand that gas guns like women run better wet.

I will try using the APL DD sight tonight.

I am running the APL on a Universal Mossie Midnight Mount and the left side switch barely clears the mount. The right side binds on the mount.

Looks like this guy cut the lower corners to give clearance:
