Colorado Democratic lawmakers who recently helped pass some of the toughest gun-control laws in the country now face the political backlash of recall efforts.
Two groups are targeting state Rep. Mike McLachlan and state Sens. Angela Giron, Evie Hudak and John Morse.
The Democrat-controlled legislature passed bills that ban magazines holding more than 15 rounds and require background checks for all gun transfers. They were signed into law in March by Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper.
Morse, the Senate president, pushed a more far-reaching proposal that called for holding owners, sellers and makers of assault-type weapons liable for havoc inflicted by their guns.

My oldest daughter volunteered to collect signatures on the Hudak recall, she said that people are familiar with and very polarized on this issue, some will not sign and are offended to be even asked and others are very enthusiastic and want to get involved. Hope this works.
Good luck up there in Colorado. I forwarded this on to my brother down here. He works for a mining company based out of there. He travels between here and there, after moving to AZ from Colorado. He lived in FT Collins for 10 years. Anyways, that is couple more to the cause.

The Morse recall signature deadline was today, needed 7200 registered voters signatures in his district, they collected and turned in a little over 16,000. A major win.......but the Rumors are that Morse is considering resigning this week so that Hickenlooper can fill the position with another stinking Democrat before the recall takes effect!

The CO Sec State is a Republican with a interesting history in Colorado politics. Wondering how this all going to play outMorse tells KDVR he is going to fight the recall effort.
“We’ll go through these signatures with a fine-toothed comb,” Morse told the station. “And we’ll file some protests with the Secretary of State’s office because we know a lot of these signatures were gathered based on misinformation and lies.”
