You're good on the rotation of the comp but by 20 lbs do you mean 20 ft-lbs or 20 lbs applied to the wrench? The minimum torque for the barrel nut is 30 ft-lbs.
20 ft-lbs, sorry. I was guessing as I did not use my torque wrench. It just felt like the last comp I put on to 20 ft-lbs, though I guess it was not needed, since I see many videos of people just using "tighten, loosen" method, which I used, however, at the last turn before the comp was set I used my torque wrench and it worked out to 20 ft-lbs perfectly.

And, per DD instructions I torqued my barrel nut to 50 ft-lbs.

Oh ok I'm tracking now. Somehow I was thinking you were talking about the torque for the barrel nut. But yeah, the comp is fine and it sounds like you've got everything else in order!

I have run into a few stubborn ones, a brownell's FSB block, cup tip punch, and a 2.5 - 3# mini sledge seem to work well for me.

You do not need to torque the BCM comp. You simply time it so that it is lined up properly and indexed off the FSB.

And, the video link did not show up, if you left one.

Thanks for all your help, man!

Also, I am not too worried about it since the correct torque was most likely applied (about 20lbs) however: when installing the BCM Comp, I only had to move about 40 to 50 degrees max, past hand tight, to get it aligned properly, does the crush washer need to be crushed more than that? I read it can be crushed from 40-340 degrees so I think it is good, but just curious.

    Oh good thanks.

The BCM logo on both of mine is aligned with the barrel pretty much. And it works great! I was surprised at first.
