I bought the FDE version from Tango Down yesterday. LAV had one on his T1 at a class a couple of weeks ago and definitely looks like it's quality.

definately better than the stock jock strap. but would also like to see some sort of slip on ARD that works with the IO

Im looking forward to picking up one but I'll reiterate what others have said, a version with the hinges at 6 or even 12 o'clock would be my preference. Maybe clear caps too. Either way it seems like a product that is way past its due so good stuff nonetheless.
