I really want to ask all kinds of questions about why you want a red dot on a shotgun and then why you need BUIS to back up a red dot, which is basically a giant ghost ring if it goes down, but I have to go pick up a buddy and go pattern my turkey gun. No red dots or rifle sights or nothin'.

Maybe accuracy, especially with slug guns, but if red dots helped with speed with shotguns, we'd all be using them for birds. A vent rib, or bead sight, is going to be just as fast or faster. When we start talking about red dots, then BUIS because you have to have a red dot, it starts getting ridiculous pretty quick. I'm just imaginging trying to sight through a T-1 at a teal...lol.
Just my opinion of course, and I'm as guilty as the next guy when it comes to buying kool gear, but adding BUIS because you added a red dot to a shotgun is really really funny to me.

I have a L3 Insight MRD on a Benelli M4 If it goes down I can use it as a large ghost ring and still see my front sight no BUIS necessarry. I also shoot a Micro T-1 on my 6920 AR if it goes down I use it a a large ghost ring and still see my front sight. Which ever long gun I pick up I am looking for the same thing a red dot if it goes down Im looking for the mechanical front sight through that device. K.I.S.S.

just got my Police 18.5" barrel with rifle sights. There are no issues using the rifle sights with the picatinny rail installed on the receiver. There is ample clearance.
