I'm curious to hear of your range results and of course want to see the pics of it with an upper, I think the lower is alot different than any other lower, which gives it some wow factor and I think that it's good that it's alodined instead of annodized. Hopefully you like it and it lasts you a lifetime cause in the end all that matters is how it performs and you like it.

Out of curiosity does this company make standard lowers or strictly this style?

Enjoy your bat-gun. May it serve you well as you attempt to rid Gotham city of any and all dastardly foes.

By the way though. I paid no premium. I traded something for this lower that was equal to the value of what I would have paid for any other lower. Maybe just a tad bit more but let's face it. No other 80% manufacture would have been willing to let me borrow the jig and give me the CNC codes. I also factored that into the price as well. The manufacturer is actually a friend of mine that I know pretty well so I highly doubt he's trying to sell me something by giving false information. I am not receptive to criticism about the look because obviously that is personal preference. In the end however, I'm going to defend the man that made this lower when it comes to people questioning the structural integrity of it. I hope you can understand that I'm going to defend the word of a man who has over 20 years experience in designing, refining and building weapons systems. Until someone had those credentials I don't think they should be questioning the one who does.

I'm done until I repost with a fully assembled rifle.

The bolded quote is exceedingly naive. Designers, engineers and machinists make wonderful things. Real world users then have to tolerate or work around all the idiosyncrasies that the designers, engineers and machinists build into their systems. In some cases, these become fatal flaws in design and execution (I'm not saying that's the case here).

You should never take a designer's word on anything, until they have either scientific data, field reports, or preferably both to back up their claims. Beretta in particular has a history of ignoring those who know what a gun truly needs in order to be successful in the field. There's even an active thread about that here: https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=120601

Your friend might be a really nice guy. He might be a superb designer/engineer/machinist. But until his stuff has been battle tested and "hard use" user approved, what he says really doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things.

Cool work, but Seekins has been selling these lowers for a while?

Unless your friend had a time machine, I doubt he would have created a full-auto Glock back in the 1970s. Gaston Glock started designing the 17 in 1981.

You said he was 21 in the late 80's, and he's retired.

I was 16 in the early 90's, and I'm not even 40 yet.

So it looks weird, can't fit a redi-mag/mod, has no integral QD points, and isn't ambidextrous.

    **** that lower.

That's what I was thinking about the Glock comment. Just had not had time to look it up. TIME MACHINE !
