    What choice

Hi all, i'm from France and i read this forum since long time.
I want buy an AR15 but in France there's not really choice with AR.
There's just DMPS, Bushmaster, Stag and soon S&W. I want an US AR 15, not an exotic brand like Norinco.
I think S&W is the best choice for me, even i know there so many better brand (DD, BCM, COLT, Noveske....) but there are not sale in france (US shooter are really lucky).
In fact i dont know what model choose.
I like S&W M&P TS (1/7 twist) and VTAC but there are very expensive (more 2000 €) or Rifle model.
I thank you in advance for your answers and i'm sorry for the spelling mistake.
I learned a lot by reading this forum.
    Respectfully.

If you can find one, look for Colt 6920 or Colt M-4 Carbine, if not available, the most common rifles we buy here would be Noveske, S&W Mp series, Rock River Arms.
While there is nothing wrong with Bushmaster, I would rate their rifles lower in grade than some of the above noted manufacturers.

Just my opinion, I myself have a Colt M-4 Carbine, and LOVE it.

    You are right.
Out of the available choices to you, the S&W M&P would be your best choice.

If those are your choices then I would go with S&W as well. I would probably choose the VTAC version but, personal preference comes into play.

Out of the choices you have mentioned, I would take the S&W. I had one (sold it to a friend) and never had any problems at all with it.

+1 for the S&W, I bought one of the M&P 15's when they first started coming out, it was a good rifle...sooooo much better than anything DPMS or Bushmaster had to offer.

    Hi all,
    Thx for your answers.
I would buy a colt (6920 or 6940), but Colt isn't available in France (unfortunately) even DD, Noveske, BCM ...(like all high rank ar15).
I think like you, S&W is better choice.
I must choose a model now.
I prefer TS because it's a 1/7 twist and a 14.5 barrel with fixed hideflash.
But there's VTAC and m&p rifle (I can optimize it).
You're very lucky to have so many choice.
Thank you again for your answers.
I learned a lot by reading this forum and i wish long life to M4carbine.net.
