    EOTech.... Please no bashing

I have an EOTech XPS model. (YES I KNOW GUYS, keep it to yourselves Im looking for advice here......)

I've never noticed before, but my reticle will fade out as it gets into the left hand portion of the window. Is this normal? Im afraid maybe theres an issue here. The reticle is still visible, but dims significantly on the left hand side.

Any EOTech users here who could chime in?

No it does not. It remains the same brightness on the right handside, on the left side, about 1/4 of the left, it fades out, going slightly dim.

I don't know if it's always been like this, because I just now noticed it.

I would contact Eotech. Their CS is pretty good and if there is a problem they will take care of it, you will just need to send it back to them. I wish I could be more help.

Hey thanks for your advice. I've read that out of warranty repair costs a bit of dough. Just wanted to see if this could possibly be a non issue from fellow EOTech users here first.

I have an XPS & an EXPS and I don't have that problem on either. Is there any other issues you notice with glass? Leave the unit off & take a close look at it. Maybe something is off with the lens that the reticle is projected on to. Do you see any damage elsewhere on the unit?

I have a few Eotechs and have no reticle issues. I'd send it back to Eotech. They have excellent customer service.

Contact Eotech, sounds like your hologram may be delaminating on the lefthand side.

More than likely one of the reflectors is bad. Send it for repair.
