Finally broke down an bought an Eotech. One of the reasons that made me green light the purchase was their customer service I keep hearing about. Hopefully I won't need it.

I have 3 EXPS 3.0 and have never seen what you describe.

Send it back. CS is very good from what I've read.

I think Tomac has the right of it.

I've seen it before on different-series EOs over a span of years, and it's usually to one axis or another, not evenly within the entire FOV. In every case, the optic needed some kind of work, though not always the same work.

Definitely ping them to see about getting a fix.

OK gentleman. I contacted EOTech, and they were very speedy to respond. All they said, was it needed warranty work & to fill out an "RMA" form which they provided the link to.

Absolutely no defects from as far as I could tell. The glass looked fine. Looking at it from all angles I could see no problems... Its as soon as you turn it on, & look through the reticle in the left hand side of the window....

Its funny I've never noticed it before.

I hear this a lot about Eotech. Free repairs on sights that are out of warranty and quick turn around. That's great CS.

I had this exact same issue happen to my EOTech 516. It was out of warranty but EOTech let me RMA it for a free repair. They fixed it and told me a seal was compromised and some of the nitrogen inside the optic had leaked out. Anyway, I got it back in about three weeks total and it was working like new. Excellent customer service.

I really do like the EOTech for my purposes, you all should be happy with your purchases.

    *UPDATE 4-16-13*

EOTech contacted me. My sight has been repaired, & has been shipped out to me. They shipped it yesterday 4-15-13. Free of charge. Its on its way home.

So the sight was shipped by me via UPS on 3-27-13. Cost me roughly $25 insured.

UPS sent me a notification stating it had arrived at the destination 4-3-13

EOTech contacted me today to inform me the unit is repaired, and on its way. Shipped yesterday by them via UPS 4-15-13. No information as to what went wrong, only that they "Replaced necessary parts FREE of charge".

    OUTSTANDING.

Final update, and comments in regard to resolution pending.
