EOTech.... Please no bashing

I've had a 552 and currently have a xps2. I've tried an Aimpoint but I came back to Eotech. Love them.

I have Eotech 500-series, a couple of EXPS3's, and a couple of Aimpoints (T-1 and PRO). I'm OK with any of them from a functionality standpoint. In the Eotech line, I prefer the EXPS because of the configuration.My overall preference if I was going to buy an RDS tomorrow would be the Aimpoint PRO because of its cost.

I have an EOTech XPS model. (YES I KNOW GUYS, keep it to yourselves Im looking for advice here......)

I've never noticed before, but my reticle will fade out as it gets into the left hand portion of the window. Is this normal? Im afraid maybe theres an issue here. The reticle is still visible, but dims significantly on the left hand side.

Any EOTech users here who could chime in?

Dont start off with a disclaimer! I own a 512. Forget'em if they dont like it. They can sit quietly and just watch or move on to another thread. I see the same thing with the sprindgfield pistols here. immature!!! The same guys bashing eotech and springfield are the same guys buying over-priced pmags with a farm animal on it (just donate to the cause is what I say. I dont need anything in return), but it's hardly worth bashing them over it in that thread. Do what you do! good luck with the eotech

Granted, a lot of the people who bash Eotech are hangers-on and "me too" internet users, but in fairness, there are also a lot of legitimate observations about the relative merits of Aimpoint over Eotech from highly experienced users and trainers that have been-there-and-done-that. I personally have never had a problem with any Eotech that I've owned, but I do give credence to the opinions of those here who have a lot more experience than I do, either from personal experience or observations of failures in the many, many courses that they teach.

As to pMags. I can always use another magazine or two, prefer pMags, and I'm happy to donate to a guy and support a company like Noveske. I have no problem whatsoever donating $50 to the cause and getting a limited-run pMag in exchange.

Sure.. I get it! I may have been a little too aggressive with that comment, but I respect the cause as well. If they dont like your eotech, aimpont, leupold,crosman etc... ask them to send you money via paypal for an ACOG or whatever they feel is "top of the line" this month damn fanboys!!!!
