Would you support a tax incentive for firearms training?

Imagine a tax incentive to get training.

There would of course need to be some vetting of instructors, and not just any neckbeard NRA safety officer or reserve deputy could sign you off, but good trainers teaching VSM, Magpul, RB1 and HSP-quality stuff. Would a program like this help get people to the range? Especially folks who just plunked down $2k for a Bushmaster over the last three months?

What would it take to get the recent influx of new shooters to a good class? The right incentive would at least take the edge off a decent class and ammo.

Nope. Not a role of government.

Not Federal, but State can do it. So sure, why not.

Why would a tax break be good? You realize that if the .GOV gets involved they will want to have a say in it. Just like they do with everything else.

In addition if people need a tax break as an incentive that means that they are not serious about their safety or the 2nd Amendment.

No. Training is not an issue IMHO.. Accidental gun deaths are at an all time low right now, and the murder rate is the lowest in 100 years. The government is broke. It needs to concentrate on figuring out how to cut costs and not take on new programs.

The government butt****s everything it comes in contact with. Why would we want it involved in firearms training?

Amen! Less government, better quality of life for all.

I would be in favor of NRA safety classes in public schools. State level.

I would also support state and federal efforts to create public ranges that are easily accessible and cheap or free to use.
