Saw that...had 2 cases in my "cart"...but then declined.
It is 2x what it cost last summer...and I will wait for it to get back to 27 cents per round again.
Think now, after the wins in Congress, there is a chance for pre-scare prices to return

    In Seattle area

Rainier Arms had some yAdams Arms uppers, LWRC rifles in their store when I was there last week.
Just looked at website lancer mags in stock $22+change

Sportco has boxes of glock mags at $31.99. They get 9mm, .22, and 5.56 here and there but it goes quick. They even have pmags at 29, d&h $19, and colt mags for $27. I've seen two DD rifles there over past couple weeks one of which was a 300 blackout.

Surplus Ammo had BCM uppers at normal price, but only bcgs they had were young mfg and fail zero at redickulous prices. Plenty of ammo to be had if you don't mind paying buck-a-round. Meh pass

I shoot exclusively steel ammo since December because I don't want to dip into my stash of the good stuff just yet. Have had no failures yet.

Our local Wal-Mart (W Jordan Utah) had a Colt 6920 and some sort of Bushmaster AR on the shelf tonight as well as a S&W MP-15-22 or whatever the 22lr S&W AR is called. Prices were slightly higher it seemed. The 6920 was 1097.xx and I think it was only 1047.xx at Wal-Mart last Fall (??)

Ammo was still pretty bare. Some guy was asking about 22lr ammo and got a negative.

I checked for modern type rifles a few days ago when I was in Wal-Mart and there were none (but the Beretta Storm).

Things do seem to be opening up.

With the loss in the senate you can be sure that the POTUS will abuse his Executive Orders to have some impact against things returning to pre-Sandy Hook conditions.
Additionally, someone will have to pay for the failure to predict and interrupt the Boston Marathon bombings and the most expensive manhunt in recent history, in which 2 young, Muslim terrorists locked down an entire metropolitan area, murdered 1 and critically injured another LEO and detonated explosive devices in the pursuit and confrontations.
It wouldn't be at all surprising for that to be the law abiding, American gun owners.
I will continue to buy when I find firearms and ammo that fits my needs and interests.
Send lawyers, guns and money the $#!+ has hit the fan...

    Re: Pipeline is opening up

I was at a gun show yesterday & I couldn't believe the amount of Pmags I saw. Hundreds if not thousands... all flavors & colors, even 308. Most averaged about $25. Stripped lowers & complete ARs were also everywhere and I even saw some BCM BCGs. It's good to see stuff on the tables but I was starting to get pissed as I'm looking directly at the faces of the f*ckers who have been hoarding the shit. Powder prices were good, primers were expensive. Ammo seemed to be in good supply but were priced at typical GS prices.

That's what I thought all along...they were hoarding & gouging, except for a very few retailers.

But that's the market. If nobody pays them $25 bucks for a PMAG and $20 bucks a box for XM855 then they will either continue to sit on something that they have put money out for, or reduce the price. The prices will continue to drop only if market demand DOES NOT support the current price.

I know, you're correct...but the abuse and some of the shortages were artificial, and extreme gouging that went on , like that from NOT Cheaper-than-just-Dirtbags...were ridiculous...WILL be remembered!

My local Walmart got a bunch of ammo in today... Tough choice, 60 rounds of 556 or 300 rounds of 9MM. I have a decent supply of 9MM, so I had to go with the 556. I was hoping for 40 or 100 round boxes of 223/556, but they only had 20 round boxes

"I have some anecdotal evidence of what is going on here. A friend called me from the parking lot of a gun store in Southwest Virginia, “Mark, I just scored 5,000 rounds of Federal .22 Long Rifle!” I cut his euphoria short by saying, “Tim, you have never bought more than 500 rounds of anything before.” To which he replied, “Yeah, but I bought all they had.” I believe Tim’s “score” is being replicated all across the country every time the UPS truck arrives."
