If you shop around online you can get 5.56 for .65-.75 a round w/ shipping included. I don't see what the big deal is..

What do YOU think they should do? Sell every box that comes in to the first person in line? Allow employees to openly buy everything themselves so that nothing is sold? Raise their prices?
#3..."Raise their prices?"...would stop the "backpage" ammo biz by Walmart employees who can BUY AS MUCH AS THE WANT "OFF THE CLOCK"!!!, OH YES>>>doubt it... I have some land in the Bayou I'd like to sell you?

Buying ammo 3 boxes if & when they have...is useless unless those are 1,000 Rnd, "boxes"

".65-.75 a round"...pretty pathetic when it was .25-.37 before the Obamania...

Believe it or not, I built up quite a sizeable amount of ammo before this craze by doing exactly that. Two nicely priced boxes here, three boxes there...

But, of course, you need 10,000 rds... now!!! Apparently you're under some sort of siege.

Pathetic, but when you need ammo you can't wait 8 years to buy it. Just learned to live with higher prices..gas,beer,milk,shoes..it never stops. Just work more overtime when I need something.

However, the reasons that "gas, beer, milk, shoes" become "higher priced" are often legitimate ...the reason for this jacked-up ammo ( mags & guns)
are due to the largest criminal organization in history & their recent actions based on their nefarious agenda.

Certainly, living overseas, being deployed, and then living in CA put a damper on it, but I think most would be shocked how much ammo I shot when I was doing this.

I went to my local GS/Ranges (Shoot Straight & Shooters World) and the walls were covered in high quality ARs (DD, KAC, Colt 6920s), in various configurations, at very reasonable (Pre Sandy Hook) prices. I'm glad to see they are two of the very few that hasn't marked their prices.
