Was talking with my father today and it would appear that Boise, ID is still in a black hole for rifle and pistol ammo in the popular calibers.
Reads a lot, posts little.
Stopped in my local Academy in Austin yesterday and found not only do they have my favorite Federal M193 in plenty ($9.98/box), they have changed their policy to limits only on 9mm and .22 ammo.
I restrained myself (I'm in good shape but the urge is still there to empty my wallet to clean them out) and bought three boxes. Plus a box of .380 for the wife's practice and two Federal .45s for my own.
Better and better even with the nutcase yesterday.
so no limit on 5.56 now??![]()
Not right here, right now.
I suppose that could all change if they have enough people come in and clean them out...
While I felt the urge, I don't really need to and figured doing so would only help trigger rationing again.
Im sure some ass hat has cleaned out ours already
A lot of cleaning out has been going on around here In Alabama. Things are still hit and miss for ammo. Guns and magazines are plentiful however.
Yesterday I walked into a Dunhams sporting goods and there was a bucket of Remington .22lr and 3 250 packs of UMC 9mm on the shelf. I was tempted but I'm looking for 5.56 right now.
Still can't find much .300 BLK out there.
