    decent low cost 3-9x mil-dot scope for training rifle (.22)

    building a savage mkii to train with on the cheap, looking for a good mil-dot 3-9x scope for around 250 or less. i like the leupold mk ar BUT its about $100 over budget. any other good options?

    oh and i dont want a bdc style reticle. mil dot only

    Take a look at the primary arms 4-14 mil/mil/ffp.

    Yeah, it's not like it's a super fantastic optic... but for 22LR trainers... it's a great inexpensive option.

    Not a scope recomendation but if you go to the SWFA web site and look in their sample list they have some very good scopes for a great price. You can get a better scope for your money than you normally could with great service to boot.

    Back when I lived in the U.S. SWFA were my goto guys for optics. Highly recommended.

    Ordered the PA, ill run it for a while and upgrade later on to something a little nicer.
