Need some advice/opinions on Daniel Defense....

Thanks for the advice guys! Keep it coming. Yes I agree, the first 2 purchases were pretty impulsive given all the early ban talk. I have taken the time since to study more about the different makes and models etc so that I would be more informed

This was the first time I've seen a DD in person and it looked nice. I also held a M&P 15 today and the fit and finish on that weapon looked top notch as well. Hence my question if the premium that DD commands over the other ARs is warranted

I thought about selling the WW but the Sig brought me a lot more $$. Almost enough to buy the DD outright. It is good to know going forward though that I can buy another Sig at a nice price

    My .02 for the DD

I have a DDM4v3 and like it. Not to muddy the waters but I like what BCM is doing as well - don't think you can go wrong with either DD or BCM.

I have the Sig and love it, but the DD is a better rifle, I would also sell the Windham, and use that money for the other rifle.

I have been watching the windham stuff and they are trying. But I have seen some vids. on You Tube, were the triggers would get really hard to pull after about 3 mags or so. Guess the rifle was getting hot.

But I dont know why that would make the trigger hard to pull.

I also think that the market is getting better day by day, But as long as people are willing to pay 250 bucks for .22 ammo etc. People will keep buying up all the ammo.

Gun prices are falling, and as soon as all the people that went out and bought 7 windhams and everything else they could grab to try and resale for three times the money, figure out they cant do that now. will be dumping that stuff for what they paid for them on the open market.

Sig rifles don't seem half bad. With that I'll say get the Daniel Defense gun. I've never owned a complete rifle by them but have owned many of their products, are extremely easy to deal with, and I've had multiple barrels from them. They really are one of the best out there.

Now if they'd just start selling lowers again.

Take the DD and don't look back. I have a build ur DDM4 (based on their v5) and I love it. Saving my pennies for another one.

Take this opportunity to run the WW alongside the DD and see how they compare over the long haul.

The DD is a better rifle than the M&P too. I'd sell the WW as well and put that money toward something else (like ammo). I don't know how M&P, Sig, and WW would stack up but throw the DD in there and it's an easy win.
