Questions I have regarding Aimpoint Pro

First off, should I jump on one for $360 shipped?

The questions I have regarding it. Will the mount it comes with give a 1/3 co-witness or any co-witness at all for that matter?

If not, which mount should I get for 1/3 Co-Witness? I don't need anything with quick detach and I certainly don't need anything to expensive. My wife is already going to kill me for spending over $2000 on my first AR.

    That price, shipped from who?,

Co-witness? On what? How about some rifle info to work with? Generally, with a big effin GENERALLY, an Aimpoint PRO will be lower one-third co-witness with the standard mount. The mount is constructed in such a way as to allow the removal of a spacer to give absolute co-witness.

There was a thread a little while ago- or was I just browsing old ones? I do not remember- It seemed as if the stock mount as 1/3 cowitness with some but not all, and some people claimed that it was in between absolute and lower 1/3.

Sorry. I forgot to add that I was using a BCM 16" Mid with front sight post.

LA Police Gear had them for $360 back ordered. You have to put lassie as the discount code. I have an order for one 4 or 5 days ago. Not sure if the deal is still good
If we don't use our first amendment to defend our second amendment, I'm going to have to use the second amendment to defend the first.

Personally, I think spending another $20-$40 to buy from a reputable vendor like Grant at G&R Tactical, AZ Armament, Bravo Company, or the other vendors who support this site is money well spent.

I'm getting the Aimpoint NIB from a member of a local Forum. I know there are fakes running around out there so he is sending me the Midway USA invoice before I pay.

I was going to get the Vortex Sparc but I figured spending another $150 for a serious upgrade in quality/battery life isn't all that much. I'm also the type of person to purchase something and then wish I spent a little more money on something else.

That's where the stock mount puts the co-witness of my PRO with my Troy flip-up rear and f-marked FSB. Works fine.

I'd like to see how that looks. So the iron's are not as low as a true lower 1/3?

Cool. I got it for $360 and it's on the way. It's the stock mount good for a lower 1/3rd co-witness or should I look at other mounting options? It's going on a BCM 16" mid with a front sight post.
