Not quite. A little lower than absolute, a little higher than lower-third. All of my other rifles are lower-third. This PRO is on a Light Recce. I don't even notice the FSB. I'ts not a big deal.

I am using the YHM flip up. Is that a decent sight?

OP, you seem to start threads on subjects that have been discussed several times before.

The factory mount will be fine for your set up.

And, YHM is generally low quality gear.
The Phantom flash hider is about the only thing worth the money.

Sorry. Next time I'll try searching before posting. Yea, I knew the YHM wasn't a Troy or anything but I picked it up new in a local classified for 2 boxes of 556. After looking at it, it doesn't seem like anything can break on it and it gets pretty good reviews. I felt it was the better option over the Magpul but not quite as good as the Troy. Besides, the fact. If the Aimpoint is as good as its supposed to be, I'll rarely use the BUIS.

The Aimpoint IS good. But you should be spending as much time practicing with your BUIS as you do the optic.

Oh, I'll practice with them. I just hope I never need them.
