Awesome. Thanks guys. That was a big help.
Got mine with the new drop riser and it fits my Vortex Razor HD 1-6x with the MGM "SwitchView" power ring installed. I'll post a pic when I get back in town.

Mounted mine up with the new Bobro mount (thanks much Mr. Bobro)!

Is that different from the slightly forward version?
Thanks

yes that's the Extended but doesn't look like it's needed in that application. the Extended mount is for scope with larger ocular components. if you look, it's mounted about 4 rail slots back from full forward. the Slightly Forward mount could position that scope in the exact same position but using the forward slots with less of the front dangling unsupported...

never push a wrench...
I use the ADM recon X sold by Vortex. It is nice an cat tail fits without problems. Costs under $200 too.
Chances are none of you ever wondered, but in case you ever did, the Vortex 1-6x will fit into an ADM Delta mount. Which only makes sense for mounting on a monolithic rail setup (Colt 901 in my case). Seems like a nice strong setup, and no interference between the mount and magnification ring. Overkill maybe, but at 25oz the Vortex is a pretty heavy scope.
Looking at more ordinary setups - I think a typical 1" forward mount is just fine unless you have a small nose pressed way against the charging handle.
