First Build Need Help

Im new here and this is my first post and would like to start off by saying hey to everyone. So for my first ar insted of buying a gun I wanted to build one so I could learn about the weapon and how it operates. I know this stuff is probably not what most of you would use but im going to try to make this gun on as tight of a budget as I can. So here is some of the questions I have. Im going to go with a 16 in barrell, should I go with a 1/7 or 1/9 twist? Should I go with chrome lined or chrome moly and what is the diffrence? Also the barrel im looking at says Parked, what does that mean? So here is what im going to use to put it all togeather any coments good or bad would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Thats all I have figured out so far but I do have some more questions. What BCG should I go with and remember I want the best lest expensive thing I can get my hands on? What about the buffer tube, spring and all? I do want to go with mil-spec but not sure what I should get. As for the furniture not sure yeat I found a bunch of stuff on craigslist people are selling for pretty cheap magpul and the like. I found a 6 position stock off of a bushmaster for practicly nothing are they mil-spec or any count? Thank you for your help.

Coyote and hog hunting. Let me say this im not going to be putting 20k rounds a year through it in 3gun or anything. Just trying to learn the ar before I dump alot of money into another ar. As for the budget dont have a set number just want to keep the price down

Why waste money on a subpar rifle?

Stick your money in a good upper. (The DSA upper is not one.)
The bolt and barrel are the heart and soul of the rifle, don't skimp.

I suspect that the Del-ton lower will be fine, the G&R Tactical LPK is hand picked goodness by a man who knows his stuff. (Where did you find the LPK?)

I would skip buying parts off of Craig's list, (you may end up buying airsoft clones.), AR15.com is good for buying parts. Check there.

If you don't want to invest in a new upper, I would buy this for your stock and furniture kit.

Instead of ordering on line, I would call DSG directly and request that they upgrade the receiver extension to a 7075 unit and upgrade the buffer to an H buffer. They have been willing to do that in the past. It will probably cost an additional $30-$40 dollars but it would be well worth your time.

For the BCG, I personally would get a BCM, Colt, LMT, or Daniel Defense M16 BCG. If those are unavailable, I would look at possibly a Spikes Tactical group or maybe a Palmetto State armory group but with the PSA be sure to get one of their groups made with C158 steel and is HPT/MPI instead of the other steel which I think is 8620?
