I got to look at most of the options in the last few days.
I really like the viper, but after looking at the MTAC and Leupold, the fine-ness of the reticle has me a bit concerned. It wasnt mounted, but looking through it at objects had me wondering how fast it would be to pick up the reticle. It almost seemed too fine if I wasnt on a bench with some time.
The MTAC reticle did seem "bulky" after that, but it looked to be quite usable for practicle shooting, but as mentioned above, probably not great for finer shooting.
The VX-R seems to really appeal, as I am used to cross hairs of some sort, the illumination is not great, but enough to pick up a dot for quick shooting.
The Weaver Super Slam is also pretty intriguing, though I cannot get a hand on it to look.
This is a tough decision, especially since I keep thinking about how much of an improvement this may be over the Accupoint, and it if is worth selling it to make a change...
