    So a brand new bone dry upper didn't function properly? Not exactly surprising.

    I'd lube it up and try it again before I swapped any parts.

    Whenever you troubleshoot you have to narrow down the variables. If you don't follow the basic steps (use lube, good magazines, etc..) you will simply be chasing your tail.

    I actually talked about this in a sticky when I tell people you need to provide us information. Otherwise we can play pin the tail on the donkey all day long.

    I doubt Spike's will tell you the gas port size, but in the event that they do, it will help. I would probably get a real H buffer and lose that ST-2 crap.
