    Advice from Instructos

    Cory,
    at least this idiot shot himself, can you imagine if this guy shot another student. this fxxxx up has pretty much ended training in this region for the forseeable future.

    I could see NY looking for ANY reason to stop any kind of firearms training. Sorry man that really sucks. We are looking at a 75 acre commercial property so we will have all the room we need. I'm really hoping to bring some real training to the NE.

    Just a comment, some people that want to take a class might not have a CCW, and getting your own background check seems like a PIA.

    You're going to be charging hundreds of dollars - just get their DL like everyone I've trained with and if you want, do the check yourself.

    if you get it going let me know. i know guys that are looking for training and you folks are not that far away. i use to teach at F.I.G. before i started working for BW so i'm used to the ride.

    That's sound advice and I would suggest posting the fact that you reserve the right to refuse service when you advertise a course. I would be very selective about who I taught anything beyond a basic safety and firearm handling class.
