Do the mag pouches have velcro lining the inside? I hate the shock cord retention and prefer to stick a piece of velcro on the mag bodies and use that for retention.

I found a pretty neat trick about a year ago that retains rifle mags if you remove the shock cord.It is essentially a home made Kywi mag pouch. I'm not sure where i saw it, but here is a link explaining the concept (.(just did a quick search online and this explains it fairly well) I did this on my duty soft armor carrier and its held the mags tight well over a year now, plus it cheap and much faster than the shock cords.

I was able to put the HSP D3CR on my LBT 6094 with the SWIFTCLIPS. It works fine. I'll try to take some photos tomorrow

I'm going to pull the trigger on one of these. Seems like a winner.

Something else I haven't seen mentioned, is that the pistol mag pouches have strong magnets sewn into the front of them. Even with the shock cords off, 1911 mags won't fall out even if the whole rig is turned upside down and shaken.
