    Two local officers down...

Two local officers were injured here in the last 24hrs.

A Lexington County Deputy was injured attempting to serve a warranty on a driver. The driver fled the scene and the officer was injured though no it appears not seriously.

Also a deputy and friend from my former dept, was shot once in the arm while serving a narcotics warrant yesterday. The SOB was selling drugs to school kids. They knocked, no answer, so they forced the door. The suspect started firing a .357 and hit the Deputy in the arm, and I've been told once in the vest in the abdomin. The deputy returned fire, and a fellow officer shot the suspect once, killing him.

Please pray for their quick and full recovery!

Yeah, that did kind of make me smile. The injured deputy fired 16rnds emptying his weapon. The other officers also returned fire, I don't how many rounds in all were expended.

I think the dealer picked the wrong guys, on the wrong, day and had the wrong odds....

like I have always heard is that the only fair gunfight is 5 of us to one of them.

I will also have them in my prayers and hope they have a quick and full recovery.

Thank you God for watching over them.
