Got my Big Boy back from the factory after it imploded. They replaced the bolt and polished the internals. It's super slick now. I have yet to shoot it though, but it cycles dummy caps really well.
Threw on a Henry Case Hardened big loop and a Skinner barrel mounted peep sight. Had the sling custom made by an awesome craftsman.

Probably gonna get flamed for this... but I added a light to my .44mag Rossi 92. It's the Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1 on a Haley Strategic Thorntail mount. In combination with the Romeo 5 already there, this should finish the gun off nicely.
I still retain the good balance, and one handed carry leverguns are famous for.
Streamlight must have known what I was gonna do. They include a perfect size set of little screws for mounting the switch on plastic or wood stocks.
I zip-tied the wire up so as not to have it resting on the barrel.

Trying to step up my photography game over the old "gun on the floor" shots.
My first 45-70 is this Marlin 1895 GBL I got used off another gun forum I'm on. I've since added the 550 cord sling, ammo cuff, XS sights, and today... finally... the Vortex Crossfire red dot.
This is my "Combat Cowboy" defensive lever gun. A Rossi M92 in.44 magnum. 24" barrel cut to 17". This way I get myself a short carbine, but still have the heavy octagon barrel. Sights are white bead front, and Steve's Gunz peep in the rear. (replaces the bolt safety) The curved steel buttplate was horrendous, so that was replaced with a recoil pad. A piece of leftover pic rail was mounted to the top of the octagon barrel, and fitted with a Sig Romeo 5 red dot. The light is a Streamlight on a Haley Stragic offset mount. The large loop lever is also from Steve's Gunz.

M1 carbine sling, Ranger Point Precision fiber optic front sight, Hi-Viz fiber optic rear sight, RMR06 MRDS, bumps and scratches from previous lives. Internals repaired/replaced to make it reliable, touch up blue and stock refinished to make it more presentable, ready for a new life in a WV cabin.

Update 04/27/2020: Made a steel copy of the aluminum base and moved to rear mounting holes to increase view for snap shooting. Changed sight to Holosum 508T/G/1 to take advantage of green dot for older eyes. Very solid base, very long battery life, good combo for sturdy working gun. Same footprint as RMR sights - easily returned to red dot, if desired.
