    Matech threads

So after trying to install my new matech and no matter how tight I put it on it would also begin to move rearward when charging the rifle a few times, so I eventually snapped the stock bolt due to frustration. Then I noticed this. Are the thread in the Matech supposed to look like this? They almost look double threaded from the factory.

You can see in both screw holes it looks like it has space for two different types of screws, is this normal?

I cant really tell from the pic, but I to snapped the bolt. I just chased it out with a tap, went down to the store and got a new one.

Ill get better pics tonight. I thought it was strange that it looks like it is threaded for two different screws. It had perfect threads to mate with the standard screw, but also looks threaded for a screw with double the treads of the standard since it appears threaded inbetween the standard threads.

I was planning on getting one of those but wanted to make sure the BUIS itself was ok, the threading has me worried.

Final update. I heard from Matech today and accordin to them this thread pattern was correct and was only used on military models so there is nothing thy can do to help me. Looks like Battlearms is the way to go.

Snapped Matech bolts are common, I've broken several. I got a hardened screw that was a little beefier at the local hardware store. The conversion above is also GTG.
