Which flash hider for 10.5" SBR?

I'm thinking of changing my LMT 10.5" SBR.

Right now I have DD M4 12.0 Rail with Noveske KX3. I'd like to change the rail to 9.5 FSP and remove the KX3 for weight savings. I find that this SBR is quite heavy.

Which flash hider should I install in place of KX3? I was thinking new Viltor but its a break as well and don't think installing a break on SBR is a good idea since the velocities are already lower due to barrel length.

So it A2, Viltor, Vortex, anything else?

The magnifier, light are all coming off - X300 will be mounted at 3 o'clock in LaRue mount.

The PWS FSC556 would work pretty well as would a Smith Vortex.

Is the KX3 completely covered by the rail? Do you have any pics of the other side?

A muzzle break wouldn't effect velocities. I would put a can on it. Absent that, a closed bottom phantom or Surefire K adapter.

I have shot a friends 10.5 with a Smith Vortex and it ran very smooth while not weighing a ton... This is the setup I plan to go with when my form 1 comes back.

What's the blast like with the PWS?

It's louder about like a 11.5" barrel is to a 16" barrel if both had A2 flash hiders.

I've found the AAC Blackout to be quite effective on my 10.5" barrels. Similar to the Vortex, but with 3 prongs instead of 4. Granted, there's usually a can attached to the Blackout, which makes the Blackout even more effective...
