Here is a brief run down about the course:

The Practical Concealed Carry Applications class is the course that everyone that carries concealed for personal protection or duty requirements needs to attend. In the PCCA course students will spend the entire course shooting from concealment using their daily concealed carry equipment. Topics to be covered include:

  • Clearing the cover garment
  • Shooting with one hand
  • Weapon retention
  • Shooting at distances from 0-7 yards
  • Contact shots/shooting from retention
  • Shooting on the move



*The following principles will be strongly reinforced throughout the course:
*Know and adhere to the real world safety rules that govern professional firearms handling.
*Only accurate hits on target can decide the fight in your favor – therefore accuracy is King.
*You are accountable for every round you fire – squeeze the trigger as if your life depends on it because it does.

Prerequisite: completion of a recognized level 1 handgun course or similar experience

Equipment List:

  • Functional handgun (semiauto or revolver)
  • Quality, concealable waistband holster (no pocket, shoulder, ankle or thigh holsters)
  • Sturdy belt
  • 3 (minimum) magazines or speedloaders
  • 500 rounds of ammunition
  • Method of carrying spare magazines/speedloaders
  • Long tshirt (must completely cover the firearm)
  • Additional cover garment (must cover handgun) (optional)
  • Eye Protection
  • Ear Protection
