I agree 100%. But a lot of folks think they can sit down at a bench and start shooting bugholes. Ain't necessarily so...

I'd love to run some trials with a mechanical rest of some sort.

I know I can't hold it together for 10 rounds. I simply do not shoot 10 round groups for that very reason. I start getting impatient and sloppy... and even fatigued or frustrated if I'm fighting any part of my position or the gun.

I'm the same 5 shots is pretty much my max for a quality group.
