FYI, they are currently in stock, and for the price of various organs, you can obtain various quantities. I just bought 40 rounds.

I don't have much experience with the subsonics, but I have a few boxes of Black Tip I'm going to put through some hogs next weekend as well as VMAX for some coyotes.

Hopefully as things settle down, we'll see more supers and subs coming to market.

Personally, I'd really like a lighter weight gold dot, somewhere in the 90 to 110gr weight. The 90gr gold dot is great for the 6.8, but I don't know if they can go that light with the larger 308 bullet.

I have a small handful of subsonics here thanks to a member on another forum. 200gr OTM and 220 cast. I also have some pink tip. I just hope there are enough hogs and coyotes to see how they all perform.
Proven combat techniques may not be flashy and may require a bit more physical effort on the part of the shooter. Further, they may not win competition matches, but they will help ensure your survival in a shooting or gunfight on the street. ~ Paul Howe

This sounds very promising, especially after QR's video on the 200 grain Lehigh's disappointing feeding.

The Remington 125gr match runs very well for me. Other than that, I don't know.. But it does feed and run well.. Ron

These could be good for our Team, but it's the lack of Gold Dot that's keeping us from approving the cartridge for our masses.

Remember, the Founding Fathers reason for the 2nd Amendment... to combat tyranny. Sadly, when people discuss the 2nd Amendment, the opponents erroneously think it was meant to stand alone... it HAS a preamble:

"...But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security..."

Why would you want a gold-dot over the 110gr TTSX?

I know Texas DPS/SPD LOVE! their 5.56 and 357SIG and .40 GD, but the TTSX is just simply a better round, IMO

Likely due to penetration. For law enforcement, the Black Tip penetrates a bit too much, while an LE specific cartridge would keep the penetration to an acceptable depth.

Gotcha, I understand. That's penetration in gel, though. The FAMS/TX DPS found out that the 357SIG in reality was usually found inside clothing, etc. even though it did 16-18" in gel.
