"Bully" (2001) True crime story about the so-called Broward County Seven. For those unfamiliar with this case, a bunch of lowlife teens decided the best way to kick their asshole "friend" out of their group was to kill him. It's a Larry Clark film, so that means a lot of stomach wrenching, uncomfortable stuff. Very, VERY gritty movie, but really well done.

Because now we can view it from a point of empathy.

But do we still root for Rambo in part III?

Being a Broward resident I remember the case and the movie. The whole crew was bizarre. Wannabe gay porn producers who both banged the same chick and when she got pregnant decided to take the abusive "roid rage" asshole out of the picture.

Kent was a Class A POS and the world is probably a better place without him. The problem is, the people who conspired to kill him really aren't all that wonderful either. Ironically the two girls, one of whom orchestrated the entire event, are both already out of jail.

A movie about my distant cousin, Alvin York:

    "Sgt York", starring Gary Cooper.

OUTSTANDING story based on true events of the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi..21 Sikhs against 10000 Afghans. I was surprised how much I liked this flick.

Limited my choice to ONE..per OP's rule.

Brazil(1985) is a masterpiece of film making, many have not seen I suspect. I have seen it numerous times over the years, and the visuals will pop in my head some times, and it's accuracy as to a possible future is scary accurate. In fact, I think I'm ready to watch that one again.

If there's three fun fiction movies that do a surprisingly accurate job of the future in some sense or another, it's that Brazil, Idiocracy and Demolition Man.
