BUT... back to the topic haha. I personally don't think the EOTech sucks... I like the reticle a lot but do find it harder to find targets in very low-light situations at longer distances (gets washed out some by the 65moa circle) but that has never deterred me from using them since you can just turn the brightness way down in those circumstances. If it is just a rifle you are using for fun, you can go back and forth and it should only take minor adjustments to return to zero at the range. BUT I still think the LaRue 45offset w/ RMR or T1 is the BEST option for what you want.

    On a related note,
I like doing builds with new set ups,
instead of swapping glass and red dots,
do any of you have much time with a TAC30/FF or MTAC/FF combo?

(less expensive than an ACOG/JP combo)

A buddy that has never brought his for me to check out says he finds the FF too high for his taste (like the ACOG/JP), and at some point may offset 45 the FF instead.

Other than that I am not up to speed on the Burris combos,
but find a RL gas, 18 inch light profile barrel, with MTAC/FF combo and 45 degree offset back up irons something I want to build.

    Thanks for any info.

    Trying out the concept, yes...

    Aimpoint

Leupold MK AR Mod 1 1.5-4x

Since its an SBR, want to keep it lightweight, so the larger variables & offset RDS just don't work that.

The Aimpoint is coupled with an NVD at night / hunting, as well as at home. But I just purchased the MK AR to give some more options with the rifle at longer ranges.

I was just thinking about doing this, since my new ACOG replaced my Aimpoint.

Though I think I settled on learning how to use the COG up close, and just selling the Aimpoint.
