I just checked and KNS makes .154, .155, and .170 so you can get a set that works for the Colt.

Even the best calipers cannot measure the inside diameter of small holes correctly. The readings will generally be less than actual diameter. You need something like this Starret small hole gage set to fit the insides of the hole properly and then measure the gage diameter with a good micrometer.

    thanks to everyone.

I was actually getting measurements of .166 -.168".

Once I measured the pins, I then got a .170" reading.

I agree, it was difficult with my calipers.

I will continue to monitor the holes, but no longer that worried about it.

    take care

Colts made in 2003 do not have .155" pin holes. They are .170"

That lower in the pictures has been refinished.

I painted it with Blk camo and matte clear to clean up the 10 yrs of handling marks.

My civilian model Colt had big pins, but for some reason I thought this rifle, sold to a police dept had small pins.

    my bad.

All semi auto Colts made between 1990 and 2008 have 0.170" hammer/trigger pins regardless of the customer.

1990 was the transitional time when both could be found.

The statement I posted is the most correct information.

It was not "found" in 1990. It was "produced" in April of 1990 according to Colts research letter.
edit: cause I guess Colt could be wrong.
