T1 mount who makes the lowest QD?

Does anybody know who makes the lowest QD mount for a T1? Larue or ADM? I currently have a T1 on a OEM mount placed on a Ultimak M8 rail on my Socom 16. I like the fact that it co witnesses with the irons but really would like a QD feature. Measurements would be big plus if you have one or the other. Thanks.

I use the above listed ADM Low mount, to swap my T-1 between my Benneli M4, Ak and G3 with great results. No co witness but I like the QD feature.

There is a OEM (I think) lever that replaces the screw and clasp on the factory mount that turns the factory mount into a QD mount and does not change the height. It is what I use on my H1 mounted on a M1A scout.

    YES, I have seen those...

I'm a little apprehensive of going that route though. I have heard some issue with those with rough handling. I have experience with the Socom height ADM mount on my AR's and know they are solid. I guess that I'll have to just call ADM next week to get a actual measurement.

Thanks for the link to those. I've been debating something like that myself. I've got a spare H-1 that I mounted on a testbed 870. But I wanted to be able to remove it quickly if needed.

It look viable but read testimonials that isn't as solid and repeatability is not consistent as the ADM or Larue. BTW if you decide to go ADM BCM so far has the best price. http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/Ameri...-p/ad-t1-l.htm

Understood. But, it's a shotgun. The amount of variation in the zero is not going to be nearly as critical as a rifle or carbine.

The 870 in question has a vent rib with an XS tritium front sight, and a Mesa Tactical rail on top. I'm currently using the Aimpoint factory base, but would like a QD capability. The Mesa Tactical rail has a narrow groove down the center, and actually works like a set of express rifle sights with that big tritium front sight.

I've got the H-1 zeroed for 50 yards with Federal Truball Deep Perpetrator copper slugs. But if something really bad happened to the H-1, I'd like to be able to quickly remove it.

All my other Aimpoint Micro's have either a Daniel Defense fixed or ADM QD mount. They are on carbines.

Sorry for the sidetrack/derail, just wanted to explain my reasoning.

I would not go that route.

So far this Aimpoint factory QD mount has been gtg. I also believe it is the lowest qd mount out there.
