Would you happen to know the GP size of the 16" SR15E3 upper?

Really asking the members to do this as they post if they can. Not trying to strech out any one person.

If you can I would appreciate it.

I'm not sure this will help since I have not measured the gas port sizes, but I changed my A5H2 buffer to an H4 yesterday, and had no malfunctions while using a suppressor. I did not attempt any unsuppressed fire.

The first upper was a Wilson with a 10.5" .556 Wilson barrel and a Wilson semi- auto bolt carrier group. Using M193, it ran fine and the bolt locked back when empty.

The second upper was a Vltor MUR with a 10.5" 300BLK Ranier select barrel, and a Fail Zero bolt carrier group. I was using Remington subsonic 220gr ammo. No malfunctions and locked back when empty.

I only shot 60 rounds in each caliber as I didn't have much time. My first impression was that the heavier buffer allowed quicker follow up shots, although this may be subjective as I didn't have a timer.

As I said just bring a mix of ammo and see what she likes. You put the Geissele nitride SGB on that DD upper correct?

If it gives you issues even with all your hoardings of A5 buffers, springs etc I have the enhanced extractor spring, and I came across a A5H4 I could send you just to make sure you have the kitchen sink to try.

I hear you. I guess "worse" case scenario is I have to run the H2. Thanks

LMT 14.5" Carbine upper (.062 gas port), BCM carrier. A5H3 with Sprinco Green.

Runs with all 5.56 and brass cased .223 factory tested. Occasionally fails to lock back with Tula/Wolf ammo.

Got my KAC/Noveske 11.5" upper back from having the URX II installed (special thanks to Ayan at boltcarrier.com). Ran over 100 rnds through it yesterday. I had one failure to eject at the start, but applied an ample amount of Froglube. She ran like a sewing machine after that, stitching up those paper targets pretty good. No change to the lower equipped with the A5 system, which is the same one I ran with the 16" SR15 upper that was short stroking. However, the 11.5" custom build is GTG. The A5 set-up made it very pleasant to shoot. Recoil was very manageable and I was able to stay on target with relative ease. It certainly put a smile on my face. Now I just need to get my hands on a QDSS NT4...

    Upper components (if it matters):
    KAC URX II
    KAC NT4 flash hider
    LMT enhanced bolt
    LMT bolt carrier
Noveske 11.5" ss barrel w/ pinned gas block
Noveske upper receiver w/ forward assist gas vent
    Noveske GFCH

    Ammo: 100 rnds Federal 55gr FMJ + 15 rnds M855 62gr green tips

Took my new build to the range last night and it was a success! This has to be the smoothest AR I have shot to date. Here are my specs:

    https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread...44#post1764744

I used 55gr Tula, Wolf, PMC Bronze, XM193 and M855. No issues and they all locked back on empty.
