I don't disagree at all. I'm a hundo man all the way. I can understand the logic behind the short zero... I wouldn't do it on my gun, but if the shooter knows his POI, then....

Right, shooter preference and all. Not for me, but it can work if the shooter wants it to.

After messing with it a lot I found I like the 100 yard zero the best. Then just hold over when I have to.

When I had a T1 in an offset mount, I used a 100 yd zero, as it was the same as my other RDSs and I did not have to think of different holds.

I moved that T1 to another upper I put together, and just picked up a set of the Dueck sights. I have not made it out to zero these, but I am still planning on using the 100 yd zero as well.

I used to use a 50 yard zero and thats fine but I now use a 25 yard one mostly for the game that is as far out as I see myself using this sight in a match and it allows me to aim dead on at 25 yards for head shots. Use the zero that works for your application just don't zero at 7 yards like a friend of mine did and ran out of adjustment and the sight was pretty much worthless past that range.

    Pat,

I think a post of yours in the past is what had me thinking about this zero (this rifle will also be used in 3g) and why I decided to try it out for a time. Thanks for the input.
