What aperture/zero for offset BUIS

I am running Surefire Dueck offset BUIS on my AR combined with a 1-6 scope. The scope is zeroed for 100 yards. What is the recommended zero for the BUIS, and what aperture should I zero it with? I am thinking that since it's a backup for close range, I should just zero it with the large aperture for 100 yards. Am I on track?
