Not true we have broken a ton.
Of course some where into the 40-50k range, auto fire and some suppressed.
I have never seen a KAC 5.56mm E3 bolt fail on a gun in under 20K rounds.
My believe is that under moderate to heavy usage a barrel will be pooched at the 15-20k range, so that at point, having a working bolt is rather moot if you weapon shoots minute of mountain.

Pardon the OT question, but how much longer (on average) would the bolt on a 20-inch barrel (rifle length) weapon be expected to last over weapons with shorter barrels?
One of my BCM middies is over 5k. Nothing broken yet. Come to think of it no failures/jams yet as well.
Please send ammo and I will gladly turn this into a filthy 16/break my bolt test experiment.
My 7 iron is more accurate than my capabilities. Same with my AR.
Somewhere around 7k of BVAC, Federal, Remington, Red River, Tula, Wolf, and who-knows-what-else on a 16" White Oak Armament midlength, battle comp 1.0, vltor gas block, with Spike's Tactical NiB BCG, Spike's T-2 buffer. Haven't replaced anything and have had exactly zero failures. (had a pmag feedlip break and entered Double Feed City, but not the guns fault).
