Not really, since this has been a somewhat common conversion for the Remington and now they are even incorporating this design into their newer rifles including the MSR. Heck besides this Bighorn offers this (I think that SAC has some kind of agreement with Bighorn on this) and then Shilen using the whole Savage idea but built buy Stiller.
