I believe that my Noveske came with a CMT/Stag BCG. Don't know if they still use them.

Just got mine from the mail box.

    Dumb question:

This one says HPMP, the last bolt I bought from a reputable source just says MP. Does this mean the bolt was only MP tested, I'm just curious.

    Thanks as always!

You can't go by the markings. Colt for example only marks their MPC. Some mark their bolts MPI. You have to go by what the company claims they are doing.

    Stag bolts

Mine came too. It looks good (whatever that's worth), marked as noted above, stamped "CM". For carbine guys, there's not an "O" ring on the extractor spring.

    Does it looked test fired?

Hm. I had a BCM bolt come looking brand new as well. Comparing it to the other BCM bolts I have, it did not looked test fired at all. Which then makes me wonder does the HPT show the brass markings that are common on Bolts such as BCM? Or is that from further test firing procedures?

    Stag bolts

I did a search here and found a post saying that some companies HP/MPI their bolts before applying the finish.

Got mine yesterday in the mail. Same markings as previously mentioned: HPMP and CM.

The CM is "engraved", if you will, and the same color as the rest of the bolt. The HPMP, however, appears to be a silvery color and "printed" (?) on. Any other MP-type markings I've seen on bolts was engraved like the CM is on this one.
