Read through the entire bill and I have to say it is very well written. Also noticed that they are now using gender neutral terms in the revised statutes. I really like the proposed changes to G.S. 14-316 as it removes some of the legalese, G.S. 113-291.1(c) as it allows for hunting with a suppressor, and G.S. 14-269.3(b) which allows for carry in establishments that sell alcohol and where an entrance fee is charged.

Any updates on this bill? I can't find anything that says when/if the governor will sign.

    Thanks.

Drove through NC on the way to Myrtle Beach last week, and was kind of disappointed in some of the laws related to CC. This bill looks very promising.

I'm right there with you, Wake. A large chuck of my family recently moved to NC, so I'll be spending more time there and was a bit shocked after researching their CC laws.

Someone in North Carolina correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like this has now become law as of October 1st.
