    Colt barrel specs

Could someone please provide a link to a spot on Colt's website where it specifies what grade steel Colt AR-15 barrels are made of, or some official colt document that states the specs?

    thanks

Here's an old link to "The Chart". You'll see the info on various components of the AR.

Thanks for the link to the chart, but I'm looking for something actually from colt, all of the other AR manufactures state what steel their barrels are made of. There is nothing on Colt's website that states what their specs are, are we just supposed to take their word for it that it is mil-spec. Where is the proof?

You are not going to find this info on their website.

Not Colt, but the next best thing as far as answering your question.

Or you can do some legwork and read the MILSPEC number that BCM and others post. Its common sense that since Colt is the holder of the TDP that they make them to that standard. Do you have some reason to doubt them?

Read my post above. I think its pretty clear. If your intention is to stir the poo pile, do it elsewhere.

Its not interesting. You just need to do some research. I could give you what you ask, but that would be to easy.
