George Zimmerman, who has been in hiding since he was acquitted of murder in the death of Trayvon Martin, emerged to help rescue someone who was trapped in an overturned truck, police said today.
This is pretty interesting.
Ignoring his good deed, I'm amazed that he was still in Sanford last week. I would've thought he was going to bolt out of there as fast as he could after he was acquitted.
...and what kind of luck does this guy have? Geez crazy stuff always happens to GZ.
How would you have liked to be in the rolled over vehicle and seen GZ helping you out? I would've handed him a Benjamin and told him and Shellie to have a nice weekend on me.
Why do the loudest do the least?
Unbelievable.... man, what are the odds on that one?!
He needs some good PR like that right now.
Notice that the news doesn't mention the race of the people he helped. Sure was damned important when he was on trial. Just sayin'.
ETA: IMO, speaks well of Zimmerman's character if he knowingly risks exposure to help someone.

I would guess that he's mostly broke (from the whole year of being charged and then awaiting trial and then going to trial and having to retain his defense lawyer(s) in the event that DOJ presses charges) and therefore an 'Escape From Sanford' is not as likely as we might think.
How do you roll a car in flatter-than-a-pancake country?

Run 80-90mph in a down pour with the cruise control set, do 60mph while making a left hand turn through an intersection and hit the 14"-16" high median. Those are just the last two rollovers I've seen.
People in Florida particularly central and south Florida seem to have a learning disability when it comes to driving. Don't get me wrong, we have our share of assclown drivers up here in the Panhandle, but it's less congested so their clown car antics often go unnoticed/unreported.
